| Mentor coaching creates a powerful ripple effect. By supporting coaches to strengthen their competence, confidence, ethical awareness, and professional judgment, mentor coaches contribute to the development of every client and community those coaches serve. Radiance’s Advanced Mentor Coaching Program is an ICF-accredited, 60-hour educational pathway for experienced professional coaches pursuing the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization. The program develops the observation, evaluation, feedback, reflective practice, ethical decision-making, and facilitation skills required for effective individual and group mentor coaching. The learning journey combines live faculty-led sessions, independent study, coaching observation, evidence-based feedback, calibration, mentor coaching practice, peer learning, and reflection. Participants progressively integrate the six ICF Mentor Coach Competencies into a coherent and learner-centered mentor coaching approach. |
One Accredited Program, Two StagesThe full AAMC program comprises 60 hours of education: 32 synchronous hours and 28 asynchronous hours. Participants may complete the program in two stages: |
Stage 1 — First Six Modules | 41 HoursThe standalone 41-hour enrollment pathway is available only to coaches who hold an active ACC Credential with at least one completed renewal, or an active PCC or MCC Credential. It comprises the first six modules of the accredited 60-hour AAMC curriculum and combines 21 hours of live online learning with 20 hours of guided asynchronous study and applied practice.
Participants who successfully complete these six modules receive a partial Certificate of Completion documenting 41 hours of Mentor Coach Education. These 41 hours may be used as eligible education hours toward the ICF Mentor Coach Specialization through the Standard Pathway, provided the participant independently meets all other current ICF requirements. Completion of this stage does not confer the AAMC badge. Participants may continue to Stage 2 to complete the accredited 60-hour AAMC program. Dates and Registration

| Stage 2 — Completion of the AAMC Program | 19 Additional HoursThe full 60-hour AAMC program is available to eligible ACC, PCC, and MCC coaches. MCC coaches enroll in the complete 60-hour program; the standalone 41-hour pathway is not offered at MCC level. After successfully completing all eight modules and the full 60 hours, participants complete the Radiance Advanced Mentor Coaching Program accredited by ICF under AAMC and become eligible to receive the AAMC badge. The AAMC badge is available only upon completion of the full 60-hour program. Evaluation Tool TrainingBefore participating in credential-specific calibration and applied practice, participants must complete the official ICF evaluation tool training required for the credential level they intend to mentor. The 41-hour pathway addresses ACC and PCC levels and therefore requires the applicable ACC BARS and/or PCC Markers training. The complete 60-hour AAMC program also serves MCC coaches and incorporates MCC-level calibration and practice; MCC participants must complete the official MCC BARS training. All official ICF evaluation tool training is completed separately through the ICF learning platform. Important Credentialing NoticeSuccessful completion of the full 60-hour program fulfills the requirements of Radiance’s ICF-accredited AAMC program and is required to receive the AAMC badge. The 41-hour partial certificate documents eligible Mentor Coach Education hours toward the ICF MCS Standard Pathway but does not confer the AAMC badge. Neither certificate automatically grants an ICF Mentor Coach Specialization or an ICF credential; participants must independently meet the current ICF eligibility requirements and complete the applicable ICF application process. |
