This session is an invitation to look squarely at the risks and opportunities AI brings to our profession. The business models behind AI are shifting fast, and not always in the direction the hype promises; many of the reorganization’s companies are building around it are simply failing. There's opportunity in that, for those who can read it.
And we'll name the most uncomfortable part: AI is absorbing the entry-level work, and without that first rung, how does anyone new to the craft ever learn it? That's our question, and nearly every profession's.
Running underneath, it all, the one that matters most: where does the human remain irreplaceable, and how do we build, on purpose, an edge over the machine?
This is a message full of ideas and provocations, meant not to settle anything, but to feed a conversation I hope will hold as many points of view as there are people in the room.
